About us
Trinity friendship baptist church
Our Mission
Our mission is to advance the Kingdom of God by equipping believers through worship, discipleship, and evangelism, empowering them to serve their families, community, and the world.
What We Believe
We believe in the one true and living God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the foundation for faith, life, and ministry. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and we are called to live out the Gospel through love, service, and obedience to God’s Word.
Our Core Values
We value biblical truth, servant leadership, spiritual growth, Christ-centered worship, community outreach, and the love of Christ expressed through unity, humility, and compassion.

About Our Pastor
Pastor Raymond Perry
A Heart For God’s People
Pastor Perry is the founder and senior pastor of Trinity Friendship Baptist Church. A native of Ennis, Texas, he has a deep love for God and people. After graduating in 1978, he earned a nursing degree, which helped shape his compassionate approach to serving others in ministry.
Called to Ministry
In 2001, Pastor Perry answered his call to ministry at Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church under Dr. Terry M. Turner. He served in leadership roles, was ordained in 2003, earned a bachelor’s degree in 2005, and is pursuing a master’s in Christian Education at Dallas Baptist University.
Visionary Leader
In 2008, Pastor Perry planted Trinity Friendship Baptist Church with support from local and state Baptist partners. His vision is to make disciples, glorify God in worship, and reach the community with the Gospel, leading with a servant’s heart and commitment to the Great Commission.
Family Man
Pastor Perry is married to Lois, and they have three children: Kathryne, Jordyn, and William. Together, they faithfully serve the church. With humility and a passion for ministry, he continues to lead with a strong commitment to advancing God’s Kingdom.
Hear About Our Story
Trinity Friendship Baptist Church was founded in April 2008 with a vision to advance the Kingdom of God. Under the leadership of Pastor Perry, we are dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, and living out our faith through worship, community, and service. We are a multicultural congregation, located in the heart of Wylie, Texas, just 30 minutes from Dallas, and we’re passionate about serving our local community and the world.
Our church was established with the cooperative support of Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church, Dallas Baptist Association (DBA), and the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (SBTC). We continue to grow in our mission to reach the lost, equip believers, and build strong families, all while standing on the promises of God.
